About

A black Swedish mora clock with the original mechanism from the 1850s, the mora is named after F.A Bjorkqvist in 1898. Arabic numbers were used for the dials. The case has a hand-forged strap hinge from the 19th century. This antique item remains fully functional, but it shows signs of age through scuffs, dings, or visible repairs. This piece is in working order. The movement is fully functional: cleaned, oiled, and restored originally. Include pendulum and 2 iron weights. The clock case is painted in black colour. Arriving in at a new home may require balancing. Light wear is consistent with age and use. FREE delivery to UK MAINLAND.
