This is astunning single hand rokoko Swedish mora clock with the original mechanism from early 1800s. Blacksmiths previous smelted, from several metal plates, and forged the clock metal frame, which is visible as the frame is bumpy. Arabic numbers were used for the dials. The case has a hand forged strap hinge from the early 19th century. There is a signature on the dial under white colour by J. Grundin. The clokmaster lived 1790- 1863. This vintage item remains fully functional, but it shows sign of age through scuffs, dings, faded finishes, minimal upholstery defects, or visible repairs. This piece is in working order. The movement is fully functional: cleaned, oiled and restored originaly with one clock hand. Include pendulum and 4 iron weights. The clock case repainted in light grey colour. The base has carved details in gold colour. After arriving in the new home may require balancing. Light wear consistent with age and use, Patina consistent with age and use, Completely restored.
