An antique Swedish oak wedding chest Made in 1850. The chest is hand scraped till its original dark brown paint. It retains the original iron hardware, hand-wrought iron strap hinges. On the back, the prime colour is visible which was used all around the chest before painting. It features decorative inicials and year on front. The key is not present. Hand-Crafted, Country, Rustic, Folk art. This vintage item remains fully functional, but it shows sign of age through scuffs, dings, faded finishes, minimal upholstery defects, or visible repairs.
